It’s called the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver because you advance your diving knowledge and skills.
Description
Exploration, Emotion, Experiences
Once you have earned your open water diver certification, you are ready to take the advanced open water course. The Advanced class provides an excellent opportunity to expand your diving skills under professional and experienced supervision. We believe that all divers should take this class as a continuation of the Open Water class. Don’t think you need to be an experienced diver to take this class.
The class features two main dives: the deep dive and the navigation dive. Additionally, you must complete three elective dives which may include a wreck, peak performance buoyancy, underwater naturalist, or night dive.
