The Gulf Stream is the reason why waters remain warm the whole year, with temperatures at 72 degrees in winter and 80 degrees in summer, making it the perfect spot to go scuba during the winter months!

There are many different places to go scuba diving, it all depends on what exactly do you want to see and experience and your expertise, some spots are deeper which means that only certified divers can get there.
But don't worry, here are some locations that will accommodate you!
1-Spiegel Grove
The ship measures an impressive 510 feet (160 m) in length and 84 feet (26 m) wide at its widest point. She currently sits at almost 140 feet at the deepest point of it on the ocean floor, while the superstructures reach up to about 60 feet deep. Descending it’s a stunning moment when because suddenly appears a huge dark structure below which is impressive! one-of-a-kind experience.
This isn’t a descent for beginners. Deep and overhead environments. Divers should possess advanced open water certification.
It gets better! about 130 species of fish create the enormous biodiversity on the wreck. Divers have the chance to see goliath grouper, barracuda, large jacks, colonies of gobies, and even a bull shark.
The Spiegel, nicknamed “Top dog” really is an exceptional dive. Every advance diver should go.
2- Molasses Reef
It’s considered the National Marine Sanctuary and is probably the best and the most visited site in the Florida Keys and possibly the United States. Thanks to the extensive and wonderful marine ecosystem that divers can see. There are more than 600 possible species of creatures, corals, and plants to see here. In your dive here you can expect to see massive brain coral, star coral, and other large barrier corals.
Caves and ledges provide homes for lobsters, crabs, moray eels, parrot fish, angelfish, filefish, turtles, rays, and sometimes nurse sharks.
Depths range from 20 ft down to more than 40 ft. Currents along the outside edge of the reef can make for an exciting drift dive and is great for Drift Diver training.
This reef is also perfect for snorkelers and Open Water divers. Huge high-profile coral heads just off the bottom 12-15 feet.
3- Neptune Memorial Reef
Want to feel like in ”Atlantis, the lost empire” movie?? so this is exactly a dive trip that should try while in Miami.
Located 3.25 miles east of Key Biscayne in Miami Florida. GPS coordinates N25º 42.036′, W80º 05.409′. Neptune Memorial Reef
is the largest man-made reef ever conceived.
These structures have produced a marine habitat to promote coral and marine organism’s growth
It’s not as deep as other reefs but is recommended to be an Open Water Diver to descent.
